Latis and SupplierConnect users can now add their own facility data for a more precise product footprint. On any product or material, go to Manufacturing, toggle to Custom, and click Add facility data. From there you can enter your facility’s location, total annual production volume, and year, plus as many energy and resource inputs as you need (e.g., grid electricity, solar, natural gas, water).

Product and Material list views in Latis now support wildcard filters. Use * to match a group of tags with a single pattern. For example, filtering on Category: * returns every product with a Category tag, whether it’s Category: Snacks or Category: Frozen Food. New tags that match the pattern are picked up automatically, so you don’t have to update your filters.

SupplierConnect users can now share the practices they’re using to reduce emissions. On the new Reduction Strategies page, suppliers can browse a library of reduction levers organized by category (e.g., Agriculture, Livestock), select the ones that apply to their operations, and share them directly with their customers.

This gives Latis users structured, comparable insight into what their suppliers are doing to reduce emissions, which supports more informed reduction planning.

SupplierConnect users can now create materials in My Materials and nest them within a requested product. If a product is made across multiple plants or sourced from multiple locations, suppliers can build a separate material for each version and nest them all under the one requested product.

This gives Latis users a more complete and accurate picture of what goes into the products they buy. It is especially useful for food and packaging suppliers with multi-plant or multi-origin supply chains.

We’ve enhanced our supplier engagement tracking with new vendor-level statuses and detailed product-level drill downs, giving Latis users clear visibility into campaign progress—from request to vendor-verified footprints.

To enable our users to more easily monitor the status of supplier engagement campaigns, we’ve released 5 new status’ at the vendor level. To maximize the collection of supplier provided data, we enabled product-level tracking to drill down and understand which products need additional action from your suppliers. Latis users now have the ability to upload third party emissions data and override any metric, including any sub-metrics within the carbon life cycle (ie: cradle-to-farm-gate or processing), and any non-carbon metrics (ie: water footprint).

This update enables Latis users to view their own data, their supplier's data, and HowGood's emission factors side by side all in one place.

As of December 2025, HowGood’s methodology has achieved a significant expansion of its certification by the Carbon Trust. Our product carbon footprinting methodology is now certified by the Carbon Trust from Cradle-to-Grave, moving beyond the previous Cradle-to-Gate certification.
