✅ Carbon Trust Certification Expansion (Cradle-to-Grave)


As of December 2025, HowGood’s methodology has achieved a significant expansion of its certification by the Carbon Trust. Our product carbon footprinting methodology is now certified by the Carbon Trust from Cradle-to-Grave, moving beyond the previous Cradle-to-Gate certification.

Our new metric 'Carbon Footprint per Unit' is now available! This demonstrates the cradle-to-manufacturing gate footprint per unit (ie: per soup can instead of per kg of soup).

🔍 Advanced Filtering & Saved Search


You can now use improved filtering functionality in the "Products" or "Materials" section to stack multiple conditions (e.g., Vendor AND Tags) and save complex filter sets as a custom view for quick access.

HowGood's 3.98 million Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) are now aligned with the PACT (Partnership for Carbon Transparency) Technical Specifications, making our data the new standard for consistent, verified, and interoperable carbon sharing across the food supply chain.
